Russia, Republic of Buryatia, Taksimo. Brownish-lilac and greenish large-pebble conglomerates with interbeds of sandstones. Pebbles and boulders in conglomerates up to 80 centimeters in size. Formed by sandstones, shales, granites and various effusive rocks. Sandy cement is metamorphosed to a saussurite-sericite aggregate, with feldspars, quartz, epidote and iron hydroxides. The interlayers of sandstones are green, greenish-gray, polymictic and quartz. Polymictic sandstones are formed by quartz, plagioclase and potassium feldspar. Mukhtunnaya series. Thickness 1300 meters.
